Question by : How hot in Canary Islands in March/April?
I’m looking at going to Spain (Lanzarote, Majorca somewhere) next month its my first ever holiday abroad. Just wondering whether it will be hot enough to sunbathe etc..?

Also, anyone know what attractions and that out that way?

My favourite holiday destination is Tenerife. We have been there every part of the year. Whatever time of year, even in January, it is hot enough to sunbathe, in the middle of the year it is positively sizzling! I prefer March, it is not TOO HOT in the spring. The North of Tenerife is greener, the south barren, loud, brash and touristy, you will be plagued by Time Share reps. Visit the man-made beach resort, banana plantations and Parrot Gardens in the North. The Spaniards are lovely, friendly and helpful. Enjoy!
