A web site I have just looked at said that in early October Tenerife only gets 4 hours of sun !!
Is this true ?
Im due to go there at the end of 29th September through to 6th October !

Well the legal age to go on holiday without adults in the UK is 18, so I’m guessing you cannot buy a hotel room without being this age too.

Planning a trip to Playa Americas area in Tenerife End September beginning of October.
In the UK I know they say the canaries are a good all year round destination but -
What should the weather really be like ? Will it be sunbathing weather ? and what time does it get light and dark ?
any helpful advice is welcome.

Definitely sunbathing weather.
Expect 25C or more on the beach

i live in the uk,all my friends are 16 and we want to go on holiday to tenerife next summer at the beginning of july but their all 17 before me and im 17 at the end of july. so i will still be 16 and them 17 will i be able to go or not? because it gets to expensive after my birthday, thanks x

There is no age restriction to go abroad.
In the hotel though they may require an adult to be with the group but this may change in every hotel.
Some may need that some may not.

I’m going on holiday to Tenerife this week, was just wondering how or if it’s passable to send a text message from Tenerife, to mainland Spain, is there any special are codes i should put in? And how would you can you send one from mainland Spain to Tenerife? And how much will this cost?

Yes of course you can.
If the person in Spain is with a Spanish mobile provider and you are not, simply enter 00 34 6xxxxxxxx.
If both of you are with say a UK provider, simply text as usual.
The cost depends on the mobile provider.

Were both 20 and its our first holiday together. Were Going for a week and have a budget of around £1100 (£550 each) We want some were hot with nice restaurants and bars. Also somewhere with lots of day trips such as theme parks and boat trips, would you recommend tenerife? Were also thinking of Lanzarote? Were going on the 12th of July. Thanks

If you like fish and chips, hot grey volcanic beaches and noise – then Tenerife is for you!
Lanzarote is NOT called Lanzagrotty for nothing!
Try looking at Cyprus, mainland Spain or Portugal … anywhere but the cack Canaries …

probably up to 6 wks then if thats the case if it aint back 2 u by november you better make sure its not lost in the post but it should be fine really just try and keep track of the days… which your doing anyway good luck though

the exchange rate is always better at the destination without any exceptions all the british exchange rates are a rip off in the UK
