I’ve never actually been there but I have been to which is another Canary Island close to it. A boat runs between the two Islands, offering the chance to spend the day there. Fueteventrua (sozz about the spelling) is slightly quieter than Lanzarote so if you do fancy a bit of a change for a day I think a visit would be well worth it.
Give your answer to this question below!
Like the person above, you can get a boat and go over to Lanazarote for the day. If you’re in the north of the island you’ll most likely be in Correlejo and you’ll see Lanazarote off the coast.
In Correlejo you can also go snorkeling and scuba diving i think, there’s a small isle off the shore as well, the boat takes you over there and you can go around the lagoons and everything.
I recommend going to Jandia for the day, its not the most exciting place but its a small town in the south which a decent beach and it’s only about an hours drive from the very north of the island!
There’s a water park in Correlejo, I never went though. There’s also a market nearby, they might harass you a little bit but maybe it’s worth going.
The capital of the island is where the airport is, i’ve never been there, but i’m sure there’s a lot there. It doesn’t seem very tourist like, but there’s got to be some sort of shopping centre at least.
Unfortunately, after googling your hotel I find it’s in the middle of the island, yet we were in Correllejo, it was the most tourist based area. We could walk from the hotel either up the road or across the beach, but you will have to drive there. Shame really, because it was good to just be able to walk into town at night, it’ll still be good fun though. As you get into the town you’ll see that it’s got a strip, full of shops and restaurants, and can get very busy at night. It’s really nice at night. A little walk further down and you’ll get to the marina with a few more restaurants etc..they’re good places to go.
I can’t remember the name, but if you go onto google maps and search for correllejo, you’ll find a big white patch of land – well, its just sand dunes to be honest. You’ll see a road that goes straight through the large area..a little further down it you’ll see two hotels.. you’ll know where I mean, there’s nothing else in that area of land. You need to go there one day, it’s got the best beach! The hotels are basically built on the edge of the beach, and theres a little resturant there..I suggest you go.
I was raped there.
