we are visiting lanzarote and have found the best villa ever ,but it is in the village of femes and want to know if there is anywhere to buy a loaf of bread & a pint of milk etc etc,so that we don,t have to hire the dreaded car.

The best website to find the cheapest deals from anywhere is Kayak (kayak.com). Kayak will compare all the other websites for you and get the best price. Kayak will give you many options and will direct to buy something at a lower price. You might also want to try trip advisor (tripadvisor.com). As far as destinations, if you wnt to get outside of Europe, go to Egypt. If you are looking to find beaches, go to Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt (which 2nd best place on Earth to snorkle next to the Great Barrier Reef). If you like to see history, go to Rome or Egypt. If you just want to go somewhere new, I suggest Paris. Have Fun.
